The Challenge: Supporting Teams Through Organisational Change

Together is a leading UK specialist lender, for 50 years they’ve helped thousands of people to access the finance they need. They have a UK workforce of around 900 employees.

We partnered with Together to support their organisational culture during a time of significant transformation. The goal was to equip employees with the tools, confidence, and self-awareness needed to navigate change with resilience and care.

The training needed to focus on helping to manage uncertainty by building skills to:

✓ Manage stress and prevent burnout

✓ Increase self-awareness

✓ Maintain physical wellbeing

The team identified the need for tailored sessions for colleagues and managers, ensuring leaders had the tools to support their teams’ wellbeing as well as their own.

Before designing the training, we spent time getting to know the Together culture, their values, and the context surrounding the change. This ensured our programme was aligned and relevant.

We knew an interactive, practical approach would be key - so we embedded real-world scenarios, breakout discussions, and clear takeaways into each session.

To extend the impact beyond the training room, we also developed post-session resources to help sustain learning and support.

Our Approach: Creating Space for Self-Awareness and Growth

Our Solution

We designed and delivered two bespoke interactive learning sessions: one for colleagues and one for managers. Each session was delivered three times to maximise accessibility across the business. All sessions took place in person at Together’s HQ in Cheadle.

For colleagues, the session focused on:

✓ Identifying personal stress triggers and understanding the body and mind’s response

✓ Recognising early warning signs of burnout before they escalate

✓ Developing healthy, sustainable coping strategies

✓ Setting boundaries and protecting personal wellbeing

✓ Strengthening self-regulation to stay composed under pressure

For managers, the session focused on:

✓ Managing personal wellbeing as a leader

✓ Using self-regulation techniques to handle pressure and uncertainty

✓ Communicating boundaries and needs with clarity and confidence

✓ Prioritising wellbeing without compromising team performance

✓ Embedding effective switch-off strategies to support recovery and long-term resilience
